Senghor Logistics Company team building event in Shuangyue Bay, Huizhou
The past weekend, Senghor Logistics bid farewell to the busy office and piles of paperwork and drove to the picturesque Shuangyue Bay in Huizhou for a two-day, one-night team-building trip themed "Sunshine and Waves."
Huizhou is a key city in the Pearl River Delta, adjacent to Shenzhen. Its pillar industries include electronics and information technology, where local companies like TCL and Desay have established roots. It is also home to branch factories of giants like Huawei and BYD, forming a multi-billion-yuan industrial cluster. With the relocation of some industries from Shenzhen, Huizhou, with its proximity and relatively low rent, has become a top choice for expansion, such as our long-term embroidery machine supplier. In addition to the electronics and information technology industry, Huizhou also boasts industries such as petrochemical energy, tourism, and health care.
Huizhou Shuangyue Bay is one of the most popular coastal attractions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, renowned for its unique "Double Bay Half Moon" spectacle and pristine marine ecology.
Our company meticulously planned this event, allowing everyone to fully embrace the azure sea and blue sky and unleash their energy in their own way.
Day 1: Embrace the Blue, Have Fun
Upon arrival at Shuangyue Bay, we were greeted by a lightly salty sea breeze and dazzling sunshine. Everyone eagerly donned their cool gear and headed for the long-awaited expanse of turquoise sea and white sand. Some lazed down on poolside loungers, enjoying a lazy sunbath, letting the sun dispel the fatigue of work.
The water park was a sea of joy! Thrilling water slides and fun water activities had everyone screaming. The pool was also bustling with activity, with everyone from the skilled "wave snorkelers" to the "water floaters" enjoying the fun of floating. The surfing area also gathered many brave souls. Even after being repeatedly knocked down by the waves, they rose up with a smile and tried again. Their perseverance and courage truly embodied our work.
Night: A Feast and Brilliant Fireworks
As the sun gradually set, our taste buds were treated to a feast. A sumptuous seafood buffet boasted a dazzling array of fresh seafood, a variety of grilled dishes, and exquisite desserts. Everyone gathered together, feasting on the delicious food, sharing the day's fun and chatting.
After dinner, relaxing on beach chairs by the sea, listening to the gentle crash of the waves and feeling the cool evening breeze, was a rare moment of relaxation. Colleagues chatted in groups of three or four, sharing daily moments, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere. As night fell, the fireworks rising from the seaside were a delightful surprise, illuminating everyone's faces with awe and joy.
The next day: Return to Shenzhen
The next morning, many colleagues, unable to resist the allure of the water, rose early to seize the last opportunity for a dip in the pool. Others opted for a leisurely stroll on the beach or a quiet sit by the sea, enjoying the rare tranquility and expansive views.
As noon approached, we reluctantly checked out. With a few sunburn marks and hearts full of joy, we enjoyed our last hearty lunch. We reminisced about the wonderful moments of the previous day, sharing photos of the beautiful scenery and playtime captured on our phones. After lunch, we embarked on our return journey to Shenzhen, feeling relaxed and recharged by the sea breeze and rejuvenated by the sun.
Recharge, Forge Ahead
This trip to Shuangyue Bay, though brief, was incredibly meaningful. Amidst the sun, beach, waves, and laughter, we temporarily relieved the pressures of work, rediscovered a long-lost sense of ease and childlike innocence, and deepened our mutual understanding and friendship through the joyful times we shared.
The screams at the water park, the frolics in the pool, the challenges of surfing, the laziness on the beach, the satisfaction of the buffet, the awe-inspiring fireworks...all these specific moments of joy are deeply etched in everyone's memory, becoming fond memories shared by our team. The sound of the tide at Shuangyue Bay still rings in our ears, the symphony that embodies our team's surging energy and drive to keep moving forward!
