1. Choose the appropriate shipping method: Depending on your cargo type, urgency, and budget, you can choose air freight or sea freight. Air freight is faster but generally more expensive; while sea freight is more economical for larger cargo but takes longer.
2. Choose a reliable freight forwarder: Partnering with a reputable Chinese freight forwarder like Senghor Logistics can significantly enhance your shipping experience. We will calculate freight rates and shipping schedules or flights based on your cargo information and expected arrival time, and handle all logistics matters, including pickup, document processing, and transportation to Colombian ports or airports.
3. Cargo Preparation and Transportation: We will confirm the specific cargo readiness time with your supplier and have them fill out our booking form to arrange a suitable shipping schedule. We will issue the Shipping Order (S/O) to your supplier. After they complete the order, we will arrange for a truck to pick up the empty container from the port and complete the loading. Upon arrival at the port, customs clearance will be completed, and the cargo can then be loaded onto the ship.
4. Tracking your cargo: After the ship departs, we will provide you with real-time updates, allowing you to stay informed about the location of your cargo and its estimated arrival time.
