Customer Service Story: Shipping from Qingdao to Australia Shipment Follow-up

This story covers our full-process door to door logistics service for Australian client Michael’s 1*20ft Qingdao to Australia shipment. Spanning two months, the whole project was completed successfully with goods safely delivered to the client’s address on August 17, 2026.

The project kicked off on the morning of June 15, when Michael enquired about an ocean freight solution. He required a full door to door service including Australian customs clearance and local final delivery. We promptly confirmed all service details, finalized the official order on the same day, and launched customized logistics planning.

To eliminate local delivery risks, we first verified whether Michael’s Australian delivery address was private or commercial. Australian residential areas usually have narrow roads inaccessible for large trailers. This precheck helped us tailor a feasible local delivery plan and avoid delivery failures.

We checked the vessel date with the client on cargo ready date, offered multiple flexible sailing options, and prepared backup solutions. This avoided shipment delays caused by tight schedules or full container space, ensuring stable shipment arrangement.

Strict preloading risk control was implemented. We accurately checked the cargo’s volume and weight to fully comply with container standards, preventing port rejection, overweight surcharges and shipment delays.

We arrange trailer pickup and container loading at the supplier’s factory June 26.

Container loading was finished successfully as scheduled.

We provided exclusive Australia local delivery support for delivery. Our team uses sideloaders to place containers on site directly. After unpacking, we collect empty containers and return them to the depot within the free detention period, saving the client from time pressure and extra operations.

Full process cargo insurance covering sea transportation, customs clearance and final delivery was purchased, effectively guarding against cargo damage, loss and other transit risks to fully secure the goods.

In view of Australia’s strict import quarantine rules, we checked product packaging. We confirmed all package are cartons.If use wood cartons/wood crates to package the cargo，fumigation is mandatory to avoid customs detention and rejection.
